Can I reproduce local authority forms electronically?

Can I reproduce Forms CON29 (enquiries of local authority) and CON29O (optional enquiries of a local authority) electronically?

A general licence has been granted to solicitors to reproduce CON29 and CON29O electronically, provided the quality of the form produced is acceptable to local authorities.

Permission has been granted for solicitors to reproduce and submit only the front page of the printed CON29 and CON29O. The local authority may insist the format of the printed form is followed as closely as is possible and in particular that the boxes which appear on the front page of the printed form are reproduced in the electronic version.

Electronic forms should:

    - be on A4 size paper, no less than 80gsm weight

    - have a resolution of no less than 300dp

    - be in 12-point Roman font<

The local authority may reject a form which does not meet an acceptable standard of reproduction.
