Our public affairs work
We engage with government, Parliament and senior policymakers across the UK to make sure the voice of the solicitor profession is heard at the heart of political decision-making.
Our work focuses on:
- building trusted relationships across Westminster and Whitehall
- influencing legislation and policy that shapes the legal services sector
- providing insight and analysis to support our policy and regulatory work
- helping the organisation fulfil its public interest obligations as a royal charter body
We draw on the expertise of our members to inform political debate.
By bringing together solicitors from across England and Wales, we can present well-evidenced, practical solutions to the challenges facing the justice system and the legal profession.
