Nearest tube stations

The nearest tube station with step-free access from train to street level is Blackfriars. Then take buses: 11, 15, 26 or 76.

Parking

There is no parking outside the Law Society from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.

Visitors can be dropped off or picked up from outside the main entrance.

There is some metered parking nearby. Parking is free after 6.30pm.

Public car parks are available nearby in Saffron Hill and Holborn Gate.

Badge-holder parking

There are two badge-holder parking spaces at the junction of Chancery Lane and Southampton Buildings.

113 Chancery Lane

There’s a lift next to the front entrance on 113 Chancery Lane to take visitors with mobility access requirements from street level to the reception area. Press the button to call the lift.

The Common Room

The Common Room is on the first floor. You can access it by lift from the entrance hall.

Turn sharp right when you exit the lift and go through the door to the main staircase. The Common Room is straight ahead.

Access is not suitable for power-operated wheelchairs.

Our library

Our library is on the first floor. You can access it by lift from the entrance hall.

Let our reception staff know if you need wheelchair access to the library.

Bar and restaurant

The Vulliamy Lounge bar and restaurant is on the ground floor and has level access.

The bar is raised up three steps from the restaurant area. Our porters and restaurant staff are on hand to help if needed.

Toilets

There’s a disabled access toilet next to the cloakroom in the reception area on the ground floor.

There are additional facilities throughout the building. Ask our reception staff for directions.

Assisted hearing

Induction loops are available in reception and all main function rooms for people with hearing requirements. Switch your hearing aid to ‘T’ frequency.

Guide dogs

Guide dogs are welcome in all rooms.
