Born and bred in the North East, Allan Devine was admitted as a solicitor in 1980. He moved around the country to different firms, working in the Midlands, Cumbria and Worcestershire before returning to Durham in 1987.
Allan acted as a defence and duty solicitor in the criminal courts and is on the Law Society's Children panel, acting for parents in care proceedings.
