Hailun (Helen) Chen

Helen transferred from HFW's BVI office to its commodities disputes team in London in July 2022.

During her time in the BVI, Helen worked on cross-border offshore litigation in fraud and insolvency. Prior to this, Helen trained at a City firm and qualified in England and Wales in September 2020.

Outside of work, Helen takes an active part in volunteering for social causes.

In the past, Helen volunteered at a London-based HIV charity as a welfare rights worker in social security cases. She also volunteered for reading at local schools in the BVI more recently.

Helen is passionate about human rights issues and is keen to get involved in pro bono projects. Helen is a member of HFW's gender equality and social mobility networks.
