Kathryn Roberts is the chair of Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP (including its offices in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia) and co-chair of Eversheds Sutherland’s Global Board.

Kath is client partner for one of the firm’s largest clients. She is also a trustee of the firm’s Charitable Trust and sits on the firm’s Inclusion Council and Ethics Committee.

Kath was previously senior office partner of Eversheds Sutherland's Cardiff office for eight years. She was on the firm’s real estate executive, responsible for people and technology.

Kath was also chair of CBI Wales in 2021 and 2022.

In 2024, Kath completed a 'Making corporate boards more effective' course at Harvard Business School and has become a member of Women Execs on Boards – a global network championing female leadership excellence.

She has been a board member of Maggie's Cardiff Cancer Centre for over eight years. She is also one of the founding members and Treasurer of Monumental Welsh Women, a group spearheading a campaign to deliver more public art representing women in Wales.

Kath is passionate about promoting diversity, gender parity and social mobility – in her firm, the legal profession and wider business community. She commits much of her time to advocating for these causes.

In 2022, she was made an honorary fellow of Cardiff Metropolitan University for her contribution to diversity, inclusion and business.

In 2023, she was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award at the Wales Legal Awards, and in 2024 was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award by the Worshipful Livery of Wales.
