Melinda Giles is a partner and head of private client at Giles Wilson, dealing with all aspects of wills, trusts and probate.

Melinda Giles began her legal career in property and traditional private client work, before moving into mental capacity, becoming an accredited mental health tribunal solicitor and panel deputy at the Court of Protection.

She completed an LLM in mental health law in 2016, receiving a distinction for her specialty on financial abuse of the elderly.

Melinda enjoys all aspects of Court of Protection and private client work. Melinda was highly commended as Solicitor of the Year at the 2016 Law Society Awards.

Giles Wilson is a regional practice with two offices in Essex and their work stretches through to London.

Giles Wilson is proud to be listed in the Legal 500, and to have been highly commended in the Law Society Awards for its private client work. It deals with all aspects of law but with a particular emphasis on private client, including all forms of contentious issues from challenges to wills to NHS continuing health care.
