The Law Society has been awarded the gold award from Investors in People, demonstrating the organisation’s continued investment in its people, mirroring the legal profession’s commitment to continuous learning, ethical practice and high standards.
This achievement places the professional body within the top 16% of professional, scientific and technical services organisations.
The award reflects valuable staff contributions and positive feedback that will be used to shape future business strategies while has also highlighted areas for further improvements within the business.
More than eight in ten of Law Society staff believe that the organisation positively impacts society and makes a difference. They think that it is a professional body that contributes to justice, ethics, fairness and legal integrity.
A significant 85% of staff said they were able to develop the skills needed to progress in their career and influence legal policy.
