Coming out: a different view

Christos Paphiti joins the LGBT+ Lawyers Division to discuss his unique coming out experience, and why he feels it has not been an integral part of affirming his identity.
Listen to the podcast:

In this podcast from our LGBT+ Lawyers Division, we hear from Christos Paphiti, solicitor at Sharpe Pritchard, on his perspective on coming out.

Coming out is something that many of those who identify as LGBT+ feel obligated to do, sometimes even to legitimise themselves and their identity.

Christos found himself amongst his siblings - who had come out or were considering it - asking if this is something he needed to do too.

He explores in the discussion how being his authentic self unashamedly has meant that he hasn’t felt like coming out was a necessary part of solidifying his identity.

Listen to better understand this different, refreshing perspective.
