Delivering premium content, best practice, essential updates and key insights
In our highly competitive profession, boosting productivity without compromising quality is essential. Keeping up to date with market changes and the continuing demands of compliance regulations can be a particularly heavy burden and risk for many solicitors.
Our events and learning portfolio enables you to keep up with the latest skills and knowledge you need to best serve your clients and your organisation.
We’ve been working to deliver our new learning and development platform – Law Society Learning – designed to give you efficient, easy access to develop the essential skills and knowledge you need to remain competitive and safe to practise.
We’ve initially launched with learning modules for CQS, compliance and in-house. Over time we’ll be adding to this, delivering a one-stop-shop for all your professional development needs.
In line with government guidance we have been unable to host face-to-face events and training since April 2020. We are however still delivering valuable information and learning for our members through a suite of webinars and podcasts across a wide variety of relevant topic areas. View recordings of our recent events.
There are more online events and webinars scheduled – see the full list of upcoming events.
Come and meet the leading experts in your practice areas and learn about recent updates and policies, how they may affect your business and how other organisations are managing this. We organise over 300 events and conferences across England and Wales each year including anti-money laundering, private client, risk and compliance, and property law.
The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors. We are the voice of solicitors, driving excellence in the profession and safeguarding the rule of law.
My LS gives you access to the latest news, events, books and resources to help you excel within your practice.
