Join our annual Property conveyancing convention to hear from expert speakers on the key issues affecting conveyancing and gain practical support to excel in your role. This event is suitable for all residential property solicitors and conveyancers. Don’t miss the practical insights on the latest sector developments and legislative changes.

Registration for this event will close at 11.59pm on Friday 14 June 2024.

This year’s Property conveyancing convention is split into three different sessions, focusing on three key topics.

The first session will focus on the Building Safety Act (BSA) 2022. This session will breakdown the BSA and help you makes sense of the changes to the legislation. Following the release of the Law Society’s Building Safety Act 2022: a guide for conveyancers , published earlier this year, we are keen to get insight from members on how they are using the guidance in practice as part of this session.

The second session will cover the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill. Our speakers will share a summary of the bill, looking at what has been implemented and what is coming up. They will discuss the implications for practitioners and what to look out for.

The final session will be a series of updates focusing on the TA6 form, material information and improving the home buying and selling process.
