  • We consult with our members to understand your education and learning needs. We use our brand, resources and influence to ensure you have access to a range of programmes available to meet your needs according to your resources.

    Our education and learning offering is here to:

    • help you stay current with best practice
    • support you in making optimal career pathway choices so you can learn and develop continuously throughout your career
    • improve the quality and range of accessible Law Society training that meets your needs and
    • support leaders in the profession and increase the productivity of solicitors through structured programmes of management and leadership that can be funded by firms' own training levy funds to mitigate the cost of provision.

    Welsh language SQE

    The SRA has said that it will offer the SQE in Welsh provided it can ensure comparability of standards between the English and Welsh versions and that the cost of producing a Welsh version is not prohibitive.

  • Become a Law Society contributor

    In early 2020, we’ll be launching a new digital learning environment.

    Our initial focus will be on compliance and in-house content, but we’ll be broadening our offering in the future and all expressions of interest are welcome.

    If you’d like to write or review digital education content for the platform, email your CV to Chris Walsh with an outline of your specialisms and any previous experience in producing material for subject specific and digital audiences.

    Additional training will be provided.
