Ariel White-Tsimikalis

Ariel White-Tsimikalis is a Partner at Goodwin Procter. She specialises in equity capital markets and regularly advises issuers, underwriters and sponsors on IPOs and secondary fundraisings, general public company advisory matters and corporate governance.
She holds a Law & Politics LLB Honours degree from the University of Edinburgh, trained at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and subsequently spent over 10 years at US law firms Latham & Watkins and Davis Polk & Wardwell.
Over the course of her career, she has spent nearly two years on secondment to the in-house legal teams of Goldman Sachs, Citi and Jefferies. Ariel joined BCLP in June 2020 as a partner, making her one of 12 UK-qualified black female partners at a Top 20 law firm in London and the only black female partner in her field.
Ariel currently sits on the Women Lawyers Division of the Law Society of England & Wales and serves as Chair of the Advisory Board of The LEAD Curriculum, a not-for-profit organisation which provides leadership training programmes to students from underprivileged backgrounds.
Alongside her day job, Ariel is mother to an energetic 3 year old boy, a co-owner of a Greek restaurant in East London, a lover of wine and a passionate advocate for women and black lawyers.
