In our busiest Pride Season yet, the Law Society and its LGBT+ Lawyers Division had a presence at five Prides - Birmingham, London, Leeds, Cardiff and Manchester.
Once again we marched as #LegalPride, together with the Bar Council and CILEX, and this year we also coordinated closely with the Solicitors Regulation Authority and other regulators.
Being led by our President and the heads of the Bar Council and CILEX (in London), and a rainbow sequinned stormtrooper (in Leeds and Manchester) ensured maximum exposure for our message of support for those in the legal profession, the community and for LGBT+ rights generally. It was also a great way for people to get to know new friends in their local area. From this selection of photographs it is apparent that the sun shone, people had fun and there was an abundance of face paint and glitter.
We are conducting a short survey to find out what people thought and how we could do things differently in the future. You have until 30 November to complete this and you do not need to have joined us this year to do so.
Take part in the survey.
