Alexis Alexander – General Counsel and Company Secretary, Liberis

After graduating from Oxford University, Alexis trained at Freshfields, qualifying into the banking team. Her career in-house began in CMC Markets, before moving to a Senior Counsel role at IHS Markit. Alexis joined Liberis as their first in-house lawyer, just over 18 months ago, first as Head of Legal and now General Counsel and Company Secretary, covering the US, Europe and UK regions.

Her highlights so far include setting up operations into the US in all 51 states and Nordics, a successful Series B equity fundraise of $42 million, Liberis recently being accredited by BBB to offer CBILS. She is mother to two-year-old twins and keeps sane by running 10 km at 6 am every morning!
