In discussion with Katrina Robinson

To mark Pride season 2020, we celebrate LGBT+ champions. Ewan Watson, LGBT+ committee member interviews Katrina Robinson MBE, who shares her experience of qualifying as a solicitor and discusses the importance of firms supporting LGBT+ colleagues and eliminating unconscious bias in the workplace.

Speakers

Katrina Robinson MBE is the Chair of the Law Society’s LGBT+ Committee. She is a civil litigator specialising in anti-social behaviour and fraud and has a very busy in-house practice. Katrina has been passionate about diversity and inclusion for a substantial number of years and is very involved with LGBT+ rights activism and has been from the 1980s. She has a wife and a cat, both of whom take up all of her free time!

Ewan Watson is a member of the Law Society’s LGBT+ Committee. He works as a solicitor in the in-house legal team at Warner Bros., specialising in TV licensing and distribution and is also actively involved in the LGBT+ staff network, Out@WarnerMedia. Ewan lives with his husband in North London.
