What guidance do you offer trainees on practical legal issues?

I recently began working for a firm as a trainee solicitor. Is the Law Society able to offer any guidance to trainees on day-to-day practical issues in different areas of law?

Our Practice Advice Service provides free, confidential advice to members and their employees (including trainees and paralegals) on various areas of law including:

  • anti-money laundering
  • conveyancing
  • litigation
  • private client

You can contact our advisers, who are all experienced solicitors, from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Call: 020 7320 5675

Email: practiceadvice@lawsociety.org.uk

As a trainee, you’re automatically a member of our Junior Lawyers Division (JLD).
