200 years of history
Celebrating law locally and nationally
We've been meeting with members across England and Wales throughout 2025, discussing priority areas like artificial intelligence (AI) and how we can empower our future leaders. Your insights will help shape how we support and champion the profession in the coming years.
Discover the stories of solicitors, past and present, which inspired the tour locations within our historical road map.
In our 200th year, eight of our past presidents share their experiences of leadership and how they helped champion our profession, nationally and internationally.
