CQS training
Our updated Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) training courses are now available.
In response to member feedback, we had significantly improved our CQS course format and quality.
We've now gone a step further and are delighted to be launching the latest CQS courses on our new learning and development platform, Law Society Learning – designed to give you efficient, easy access to high-quality courses.
With a simplified format, each course has also been reviewed by peers before being submitted to the independent CQS approval process to ensure they meet the necessary standard required for CQS accreditation (SRA competency level 4).
Courses will each take no more than two hours to complete and will be followed by a short assessment. Our courses are modular and can be taken one module at a time if needed.
Core training courses
If you're new to CQS, you only need to take the core training course to become accredited:
Core Training – Financial Crime
By completing this course, you'll have a solid understanding of financial crime, including the Money Laundering Regulations and your obligations.
You'll also be able to identify the warning signs in conveyancing work and know what steps to take.
In easy to understand 30-minute modules, you'll cover everything you need to support your CQS accreditation.
Cost: £35 + VAT per course

Cost
To support members in the current climate, we've frozen the cost of our CQS courses.
Each course costs £35 + VAT (£42) per person.
If your organisation has more than 16 members of staff who need to take the update courses, you can take advantage of our capped rate of £1,100 + VAT (£1,320) for unlimited access to the training.
If you have any enquiries or need further help to choose the right courses, contact us.
Don't forget – the choice is yours
There are two authorised CQS training providers. You can choose either of the authorised providers to complete your mandatory training. You do not need to complete all your training with the same provider.
To make sure we're competing on a level-playing field with other training providers, the Law Society's CQS accreditation and CQS training sections are two separate entities.
