A look at how the court closure programme is impacting court users
In this podcast, Catherine Reed speaks to Dr Olumide Adisa and Sue James about the impact of the court closures by HMCTS.
Dr Olumide Adisa
Dr Olumide Adisa is a researcher/principal investigator at the University of Suffolk.
Prior to this, Olumide worked as the research lead examining live at home schemes in the UK and the role of third sector partnerships working at the Methodist Homes in helping older people live independently in their homes.
She has held various senior management positions in the voluntary sector in the UK and overseas over the last 10 years.

Sue James
Sue James is a solicitor at Hammersmith and Fulham Law Centre and a specialist in housing law.
In 2017 she won the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Outstanding Achievement Award. She is a founding trustee of Ealing Law Centre, which opened in 2013.
Sue writes a regular column for Legal Action Magazine and writes on legal aid and access to justice for other legal journals. This year she joined the editorial team to produce the Legal Aid Handbook 2018/19.
