Mental Health Awareness Week - the lawyer image

Sarah Alonge, diversity and inclusion adviserThis year for Mental Health Awareness Week, diversity and inclusion adviser Sarah Alonge sat down with Council member Kayleigh Leonie to discuss the changing profile of the lawyer and the impact this can have on an individual's mental health.

They discuss some of the latest findings from this year's Junior Lawyers Division's resilience and wellbeing survey, and speak about the correlation between identifying with a diverse group and your mental health.

Kayleigh Leonie, specialist employment law solicitorKayleigh Leonie is a specialist employment law solicitor and Law Society Council member representing solicitors with zero-to-five years' PQE.

As well as being an ex-officio member of the Junior Lawyers Division executive committee.

Kayleigh also sits on the Law Society's Employment Law Committee and the Women Lawyers Division Committee.
