Fiona Woolf lecture 2019

This event is to celebrate the achievements of Dame Fiona Woolf and other inspirational women who have reached senior positions within the profession.

This year, we have led the way as a thought leader on gender equality.

The women in law in leadership initiative saw over 200 women roundtables, male champion roundtables, toolkits and culminated in an international symposium.

The key driver behind this initiative was the lack of women in leadership roles.

The lecture will pick up this theme and look at women as leaders, why diversity in leadership is important and the barriers to women in leadership and how those barriers can be overcome

This year’s guest lecture will be delivered by Vidisha Joshi, former managing partner, Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors.
