Planning and Environmental Law Committee

The role of the Planning and Environmental Law Committee is:

  • To keep under review, and to promote improvements in, planning law, practice and procedure (including related areas of law such as listed buildings and conservation, highways, nature conservation, water resources, drainage and flood risk, compulsory purchase and compensation) and environmental law and procedure.
  • To support solicitors practising planning and environmental law.
  • To promote the value of solicitors in planning and environmental processes.
